All about Ube & Pandan

Ube (pronounced "Oo-bae") is a purple yam originally from the Philippines. It's essentially a bright purple sweet potato that has a sweeter, slightly nutty, almost-chocolatey taste.

Pandan is an aromatic plant that is precious for its sweet and versatile floral fragrance and are abundant in the tropical areas in Southeast Asia. It has a good balance of the flavor of vanilla and fresh subtle hints of coconut.
